Trade union organisation of JSC Salavatsteklo employees has been a legal entity since 1993 and acts on the basis of the Provision, the Trade Union Charter and the legislation on trade unions of the Russian Federation. The current membership of the trade union committee was elected in October 2014. At the moment the trade union of the enterprise has 1228 members.

Salavatsteklo's employees' health is guarded by a medical center, which operates daily from 07.30 to 21.00 hours (without breaks and days off).
The main task of the health center is to provide emergency and urgent care for injuries, sudden illnesses, poisoning and severe conditions.

The Trade Union of JSC Salavatsteklo Volga is guided by the Charter of the Trade Union of JSC Salavatsteklo Volga, the Constitution of the Russian Federation, the Federal Law ‘’On Social Associations‘’, the Federal Law ‘’On Trade Unions, Their Rights and Guarantees of Activity‘’, and the legislation of the Russian Federation.
Representatives of the Trade Union are members of the Company's commissions on: certification, labour protection and workplace culture commissions. All internal local acts containing labour law norms are adopted by the administration of the joint stock company taking into account the motivated opinion of the Trade Union.
