On the eve of the Glass Industry Workers' Day and the 60th anniversary of JSC Salavatsteklo we carried out a solemn launch of the reconstructed float glass production line!
Alexander Sheldyaev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan - Minister of Industry, Energy and Innovations, Sergey Agureev, CEO of JSC Salavatsteklo, Radik Sultanov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC Salavatsteklo, Igor Mironov, Head of Salavat City Administration took part in the launching ceremony.
Reconstruction of the glass furnace of line No. 6 at the plant began in the summer of 2022. Technological innovations were introduced in the design of the new furnace to improve the quality of glass and quantitatively increase the yield of finished products. Also, as part of the reconstruction, the imported software was completely replaced by the Russian company. The upgraded line will produce 600 (+50) tons of float glass per year and will enable the production of ultra-clear glass and Over Size glass (12000 x 3210 mm).
