12 METERS OVERSIZED GLASS

In July 2022, JSC Salavatsteklo produced the first 12000x3210 mm Over Size float glass. Oversized glass forms the modern architectural look of buildings, creating an impressive appearance. Indoors, oversized glass visually expands the space, making it lighter and more open.

ULTRAVIEW R LOW-IRON GLASS

Ultraview R float glass with minimal iron content has increased light transmission and provides natural color rendering. It is used wherever optical and aesthetic properties are important, when it is necessary to emphasize airiness and spaciousness: in architecture with large glazing areas, in interiors. Even with increased thicknesses, this glass retains a perfectly neutral color. This glass has become an important achievement in the development of the glass industry of JSC Salavatsteklo and in Russia as a whole.

CLEARVIEW ANTI-REFLECTIVE GLASS

The first production of anti-reflective coated glass in Russia has been mastered at the Salavatsteklo glass plant. Clearview anti-reflective glasses are produced by magnetron sputtering: in a vacuum-magnetron machine, a thin layer of coating invisible to the human eye is applied to the surface of a float clear glass, which changes the properties of the product. Clearview not only minimizes all unwanted glare and reflections, but also provides the highest optical properties. The range of applications for anti-reflective glass is wide: store windows, museums, zoos, stadium boxes, observation decks, car dealerships, jewelry showcases, facades where the architect is looking for perfect transparency.

Large-format glass Over Size 12 meters with energy-efficient coating

In the summer of 2024, the coating line was reconstructed at JSC Salavatsteklo. Currently, technological capabilities make it possible to produce transparent and highly transparent glass with a multifunctional magnetron coating in Over-Size format with a length of up to 12 meters. The use of large–format glass in projects is a modern trend that allows us to adequately highlight the significance and scale of a modern building. All-glass and energy-efficient translucent structures let in maximum natural light, protect from heat in summer and reduce heat loss in winter.
